What is Pointing Forward?
Pointing Forward is a student-led program dedicated to making fencing more accessible.
We collect donated fencing equipment from individuals, clubs, schools, and organizations, then connect that equipment with schools interested in starting fencing clubs and teams.
Many schools never have the opportunity to offer fencing because equipment is expensive. This initiative helps remove that barrier.
What is Fencing?
Fencing is an Olympic sport of controlled swordplay. It combines strategy, athleticism, and quick decision making — often described as physical chess. Because success depends as much on thinking as on speed, fencing is welcoming for students from many athletic backgrounds.
